Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

FocusFlow respects your privacy. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the application.

Local-first: your productivity data is stored on your device and is not uploaded to a FocusFlow server.

1. Information You Create in FocusFlow

You may create or generate tasks and task details, focus-session history, focus duration and progress, XP and achievement progress, garden progress, application settings, reminder preferences, and onboarding state. This information may contain personal information depending on what you enter. It is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to a FocusFlow server.

2. Accounts and Authentication

FocusFlow does not currently require an account or sign-in. It does not use email/password accounts, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, social-media authentication, or a FocusFlow cloud identity.

3. Local Data Storage

FocusFlow stores application and productivity information locally so your tasks, focus history, progress, achievements, settings, and reminders can persist between sessions. On Android, FocusFlow is configured to exclude its private application data from supported cloud-backup and device-to-device-transfer mechanisms where Android honors application backup rules. No software can guarantee secure physical erasure of data from storage hardware or copies outside the application's control.

4. Notifications and Reminders

FocusFlow may request notification permission. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device and FocusFlow does not use a remote push-notification backend such as Firebase Cloud Messaging. Android functionality may be used to restore reminder scheduling after a restart. Reminder preferences are stored locally.

5. Support & Feedback

When you contact support, FocusFlow prepares an email draft and hands it to an external email application. FocusFlow does not send the email automatically; you can review, edit, or cancel it. General feedback contains what you enter. A problem report may automatically include only the application name, application version, build number, and platform. FocusFlow does not automatically attach tasks, focus history, XP, achievements, files, screenshots, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or other productivity data. After handoff, the email provider's privacy practices apply. Support: supportfocusflow3@gmail.com.

6. Clipboard

Some support functions let you copy an email address or message. Copied information is placed on the system clipboard and may be accessible according to your platform's rules. FocusFlow does not control information after it is copied.

7. Analytics, Tracking and Ads

FocusFlow does not currently use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, advertising SDKs, advertising identifiers, attribution SDKs, cross-app tracking, or advertising profiling. FocusFlow does not display third-party ads.

8. Internet and Network Communication

The Android release of FocusFlow does not request the Android INTERNET permission and does not upload your productivity records to a FocusFlow-controlled server. Support may hand information to an external email app, which may use the internet independently. Other platform builds may perform platform-level operations required by Flutter or installed packages; for example, the web build may request application-version metadata. Based on the current implementation, this does not include uploading FocusFlow productivity records.

9. Data Sharing and Sale

FocusFlow does not sell your personal information and does not share productivity data with advertisers, analytics providers, or a FocusFlow backend. Information you intentionally transfer to another application is then handled outside FocusFlow.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Your productivity data remains locally until removed through available app controls, cleared through the operating system, or the app is uninstalled, subject to operating-system behavior. FocusFlow provides reset functions; some intentionally reset only specific categories and indicate what they remove and retain. Full reset is designed to remove FocusFlow-owned local user state that the app can reasonably remove, including productivity state, reminder-related state, and scheduled notifications where supported. FocusFlow cannot delete information that has already left the app, including sent emails, drafts stored by another app, clipboard information, or information independently retained by another service.

11. Android Backup and Device Transfer

FocusFlow on Android explicitly disables application backup and provides backup/data-extraction rules that exclude its private application storage from supported Android cloud-backup and device-transfer mechanisms. Platform behavior may vary by Android version, device manufacturer, or system implementation.

12. Third-Party Applications and Services

FocusFlow may interact with external applications when you explicitly request an action, such as opening your email app. Those applications and services operate under their own privacy policies.

13. Children's Privacy

FocusFlow does not knowingly operate a system designed to collect personal information from children through accounts, advertising, analytics, or a FocusFlow backend. Because it does not currently operate user accounts or collect age information, it does not independently verify age.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy when FocusFlow's features, data practices, legal requirements, or distribution methods change. The Last updated date will be revised. If future versions introduce cloud synchronization, accounts, analytics, advertising, or new forms of data transmission, this policy will be updated accordingly.
